how to protection folder in windows XP

This tutorial is another way that the files in the folder we can be safe from the reach of people who are ignorant or perhaps from a local virus which is annoying.

This way I personally think is more secure than we hide the file by giving the Super Hidden attribute.

Because this way we are not able to access the folder, as you want to access the System Volume Information folder, we'll get an error accessing the folder.

But perhaps this is not very safe, especially for those who already know or have read of this blog. but .... tapinya ya there: D, this method is safe from those who still lay on the windows, hehe.

Get to the tutorial.
The first thing you should do is open the folder option settings on your explorer, how from the menu Tools >> Folder Options from the Control Panel or select Folder Options

After moving to open and slide Scrolbar View Tab down to the bottom and locate the "Use Simple File Sharing", see picture for details, and then remove the check in that section and click Ok.

Furthermore Right click on the folder you want to protect and select Properties
then moved to the Security Tab

Click on your user name, in the Group or User names box
and Deny check all the options, see the picture.

After you click Apply confirmation will appear, and you select Yes.
After the above steps completed we now return to the Folder Options settings
and return the setting "Use Simple File Sharing" checkbox to the original AKA in again, and then click Ok

Now it's time we tried we'd open the folder and folders, you can not access

Perhaps for those who are unfamiliar will find out why the folder can be protected
and probably will try to see the folder properties, but do not worry as any folder view propertiesnya back its original state. So they will not find settingannya, unless they are directly googling with errornya message: D.
